The formability of twinning—Induced plasticity steels predicted on the base of Marciniak-Kuczynski theory

Abstract The purpose of this work is to predict and analyze the formability twinning – induced plasticity steels through Marciniak-Kuczynski (MK) theory with emphasis on solutions for improving prediction results. selected constitutive equations involve Yld00-2d Barlat et al. (2003) plane stress yield function, Swift strain–hardening power law dislocation density based model proposed by Kim (2013), taking into account glide, dynamic strain aging. Three types high manganese content TWIP sheet were selected. To understand steel factors influencing it, a sensitive study effect mechanical properties MK concept predicted forming limits performed.
